Mitermatepro™ Miter Saw Stand - Setup
- Locate your Mitermatepro™ in a convenient location:
- Where there is ample clear, safe work area
- Near the work site and your materials (lumber, siding, etc)
- Within reach of adequate power for your tools
- Place and Orient the Mitermatepro™ where you want it set up
- Stand it on end and balance it with your right hand
- With your left hand, grasp the outrigger support just below the release
- While using your thumb to press the release pull out the outrigger supports one at a time and set them aside
- Also release the legs on this end and fully extend them
- Set the unit down on the extended legs and move around to the wheeled end
- Release the legs on the wheeled end
- Lift the wheeled end and fully extend these legs
- Check the unit for level and stability
- Lean a plank on the saw stand clamping bar
- Lift the end of the plank and place an outrigger support about 3/4 of the way along the plank
- Snug the clamps on the outrigger (try to keep a 1/4" gap between the plank and the bar)
- Align the plank with the saw fence (horizontally and vertically)
- Snug the clamps on the saw stand (try to keep a 1/4" gap between the plank and the bar)
- Lean a second plank onto the clamping bar on the other side of the stand
- Lift this plank and place the remaining outrigger support about 3/4 of the way along the plank
- Snug the clamps on the outrigger (try to keep a 1/4" gap between the plank and the bar)
- Align the plank with the saw fence (horizontally and vertically)
- Snug the clamps on the saw stand (try to keep a 1/4" gap between the plank and the bar)
